Thanks for taking the time to line us up with how Jesus lived. Even when He flipped money tables, He showed constrain. He could have smoked them, instead He wept. It’s great to see your gifts so evident. AND, just in case your talents weren’t obvious enough, your Dad made sure I knew just how special his daughter & son inlaw are! He’s your #1 fan. We had a great visit with him & the tribe at Joel’s this summer. Hopefully your family can make the next reunion.

How blessed am I to have a dad like you! I have watched you live through many challenging situations. You have lost many special people. Lifelong friends and family. I know it has hurt you deeply, yet it is because of your example that I know to cling to Jesus. It’s what I have watched you do throughout all of life and that is why it’s natural for me to trust in God’s purposes. I have seen my dad trust his Heavenly Dad. They don’t come better than you!!! Love you, Dad (Mom too!!!)

Mom &I just read this blog. We share life, abundant life, together with our family and close friends. I share your losses and your joys. Thanks to God for your ability to express your thoughts. They made me remember my family and friends that have either died or moved away. Memories are sweet, but we can’t live on those sweets now can we. I was rereading 2 Cor. 1:3-7 yesterday and recalled how challenging and encouraging this passage is to me and others. Reread it!
I love you and said a prayer for you just now that God will comfort you so that you can comfort others. Again, I love you!

ok. wow. Like this is what I’ve been writing on all summer long…since June, over at Gold in the Clouds…….the Lord totally answered a prayer of mine from last March, about “doing life” with someone…another woman friend My prayer was that even tho I was in this huge church for 3 years and loving it, I felt lonely and desiring a close friend I could “be real” with….our wonderful Loving Father provided that answer in the most marvelous way….He is FAITHFUL….I’ll have to tell you about this sometime….the friend is someone at church…..and it is just an amazing story of what the Lord is doing…..I’m sorry your friend moved away…..but…I LOVE what you say here about Jesus. If it wasn’t for Him and His unconditional love for us I sooo could not do life. God bless you Deb….your blog is so encouraging!!
